WHO WE ARE

Two Norwegian Grammy-winning musicians unite in a singular duo format. Vocalist Rohey Taalah and saxophonist Martin Myhre Olsen—renowned for their work with Gurls, Susanne Sundfør, Hegge, Wako, and the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra—bring a fresh and intimate approach to jazz and contemporary music.

Their collaboration grows from a shared fascination with the close interplay between voice and saxophone. In this minimalist setup, rich and orchestral textures emerge. The duo’s repertoire spans timeless jazz standards, original material, and reinterpretations of songs by icons such as Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, and Laura Mvula, blending expressive vocals with inventive saxophone arrangements.
