Homage to Legends is the result of a desire to explore the close connection between voice and saxophone, in an attempt to creatively craft an orchestral soundscape with this simple instrumentation and carefully chosen repertoire.
I selected songs that are close to my heart, each carrying deep personal meaning. Together, we offer these interpretations as an homage to the legends who have given us timeless gifts through their music—music that continues to inspire, enlighten, comfort, and uplift.
With great respect and humility, we offer our own interpretations of these songs, fully aware of the privilege it is to be able to do so.
Music is universal. It has the power to heal and unite, and it moves freely across borders. In the times we are living in, we need this power more than ever.
We are grateful to these legends for writing these songs and preserving them in timeless recordings, allowing us—and you—to continue to experience them. Without their work, our versions would not exist.
